Tree of Life

I thought this painting by Japanese artist Kazuto Uota on the cover of the Ensign this month was beautiful and stunning.  I'm sure this small picture does not do it justice.

I absolutely agree. I still haven't been able to find a poster anywhere. If anybody knows a source, please tell!

I'm going to the interwebs looking for a print as well, but all I find are other people out there who want a print too and don't know where to find one. Sigh.

Anyone could tell me why this pic is stunning?

I googled this image looking for a print and came to your blog. Recco, if you could see the pic in the Ensign, it looks like it glows, that is why I think it is stunning and am looking for a print.

Here is the url for Uota's online gallery.

http://www.sakanada-hitori.com/

On the tool bar, click on "Gallery" and "1990-1994." You will find the "Tree of Life" paining there.

The art shop in the Church History Museum in SLC is getting the art print of The Tree of Life by Kazuto Uota. I talked to someone there yesterday, and they should have them by the end of the week. She didn't know the exact dimensions or whether it would be on canvas or paper.

I found a similar picture at Raymonddesigns.com that can be personalized. It's 45 % off right now!! Love it.
